Here I Am
Hello world,
I am absolutely terrible at introductions. My brain is scrambled eggs half the time, and my focus is everywhere but sitting down to write out my thoughts and feelings. Why would a person like me then begin writing a Blog? Well, simply put, because I need to. My supportive friends feel that writing is the best way for an individual like me whose experienced so much, to pour out anything and everything that comes to mind so it can properly exit my emotional system.
I'm sure there are many out there like myself struggling with social anxiety, depression, rejection, stress, and medical issues who need a place to properly express and be heard. It's a concept that's actually very hard to find in this day and age; our society is being shaped to neither being understanding, empathetic, or compassionate to the average person who struggles with mental and medical issues.
The court system is a perfect example of this, particularly Family Court.
In fact, quite the opposite occurs; society persecutes individuals like us with labels such as being "lazy, unmotivated, undisciplined" and other derogatory terms because rather than accept that there are whole generations of individuals being brought into the world with handicaps, older generations stamp these realizations out with fervent beliefs that "all things can be dealt with through proper education and hard work".
Let's talk about that, shall we? Here is to another blog written by an average girl going through the most unconventional life, trying to find her place in a world ever-changing and never caring, to be a voice to those who really need it. Hello world, this is the life of Kayla Lynn Allen, and I am using this Blog as a diary to jot down all there ever was and is to know about a person like me so that those who eventually come around with similar circumstances, might find hope and encouragement through this story.
